Deborah A. Faktor represents developers and corporations nationwide
in public/private financings including tax increment financing, sales
tax financing and economic development bonds.Ms. Faktor provides counsel on the acquisition and sale of commercial and industrial properties, the structuring of public/private partnerships, and the documentation of those transactions. Her corporate work has included acquisitions, mergers, leveraged buy-outs, and a variety of financings such as senior, mezzanine and subordinated debt; debt/equity conversions; preferred stock and warrants. Prior to becoming a principal at Polsky & Associates, Faktor managed her own commercial real estate and corporate transactional practice. In her practice, she acted as general counsel to commercial real estate companies and guided clients through corporate acquisitions. Ms. Faktor holds a J.D. degree, cum laude, from IIT Kent College of Law as well as a master's degree from DePaul University. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle. |
